Tonight Rich and I worked on getting the push rods for the elevator and rudder made and hooked up. We made them from carbon fiber rod...the ends that connect to the control surface used plastic connectors, and for the ends that connect to the servo's we used a method to splice steel to the carbon fiber with some thread. Pics can tell more of the story than I can type about...
We are going to have to made a support for the push rods to slide thru because the carbon fiber rods are bending too much when pressure is applied against the servo. Not a big deal...something to work on next time tho.
