Tonight was pretty dang cool! Rich started off by showing me how to hook up one of the aileron servo's, then cut me loose to hook up the second one. Really easy stuff, I just had no clue how to use some of the hardware.
As we were doing that, Dan was busy getting his newly painted fiberglass cowl installed on his Piper Cub. He is just about done covering the new wing he built to replace the old "clip wing" he had before. We all had a serious case of "Look at it disease"...
This thing is seriously COOL!!! Can't wait to see it fly!! Way to go Dan!
Then I got all antsy to get some power to my servo's and run the motor in my 195...so we got the freshly charged battery out, and hooked things up...
...and then "started" it up!
Really awesome! I have a bit of programming to do with the controller, make a "Y" harness for the ailerons, paint the cowl, and secure everything...it's almost done! I do have the wheel pants to do at some point, but I'm really close to flying it!
