Spent a few hours over at Rich's today and got the rudder and elevator installed on the 195. Rich did the install, showing me how to do this on future models.
Then I installed the tail cone under the rudder with strips of covering. This way, if a repair ever needs to be done here, I can simply slice the covering, and remove it.
It looks SO much better with the control surfaces in place!
I also primed the cowling, and hope to paint it next time. While the cowl was drying, I cut out the stripes that I will put on the side of the fuselage next time as well. After those two things are done, it will be time to load up all the electronics, weigh it, CG it, and fly it! Well...Rich will do the maiden for me. We'll see if I ever get brave enough to fly this thing!
