Yes, the Cessna 195 RC project DOES still exist! Thanks for all the emails asking about it!! Since moving my RV-7 to the hangar this summer, I've taken full advantage of the weather to work on that. Now that the weather is beginning to change, I will be working on the 195 much more often, and hopefully finish it within the next month or so! It's only been two years!
Anyway, tonight I went over to Rich's house for an hour to work on the gear leg fairings. I tacked the plywood to the gear leg...
...then covered them with chrome monokote.
Hard to tell in that picture, but it came out really good!
I hope to be able to work on this at least once a week in the coming month or two...we'll see.
