I had all intentions of spending most of the day working on the airplane today, but house work had to be done.  I can't stand a dirty house, so that does take priority with me.  When I did finally get out there at 5:30 this afternoon, I only worked for a couple of hours before Brit got home from Wisconsin.

I started by removing the 772 bottom skin, and then found the F-713 L&R auxiliary longerons.  These needed a centerline drawn, so I did that, and then clamped them in place to figure out how much of a "slight" twist they needed.

I did that in the vise, and then clamped them back in place with the centerline showing through in order to drill them.  Oh, I did trim the aft end to butt up against the 704 bulkhead.

That was repeated for the right side, and here's an inside shot of that one after it was drilled.

To finish things for today, I made the 719B left and right angle clips per the drawing plans.

Tomorrow morning, Rob Johnson and I start tailwheel training in a J3 Cub, as long as the weather and winds cooperate.  I WILL take some pics of that!
