April 2008 Fuselage and Finish Kit April 1st Assembled wheels and tires April 4th Replaced interior fuel lines with SS braided line, removed brake lines April 5th Installed main gear, wheels and brakes, and tailwheel April 6th Painted TW parts, drilled FW plate, fixed mount/FW rub April 7th Installed tailwheel, fit FW plate, 100% cleco'd FW April 8th ROLLING ON IT'S GEAR! Riveted the rest of the canopy frame April 14th Fixed fit on left wheel, started on the canopy frame reinforcement kit April 15th Canopy frame reinforcement April 20th Dimpled and countersunk canopy frame and skin, started painting it April 21st Painted canopy frame April 22nd Touched up paint, riveted canopy skin to the frame April 24th Riveted reinforcement braces to frame, prepped for canopy fitting April 26th Fuselage sees the light of day!
