Happy Anniversary Brit!! Today is our 7th!! We had a great night out this past Saturday to celebrate it because Brit has training duties at the Kennel Club tonight...so that meant I had a couple hours to spend in the garage...
First I wired the starter button to the starter solenoid, then ran the wire from the master switch to the battery solenoid, then wired the 'starter engaged' LED warning light...
Then I worked on routing some wires. I didn't take a pic of it, but I wrapped the alternator wiring together in plastic coil tubing, then started bundling stuff together around the engine mount and hoses. I've been waiting to use my wiring spoon for a long time! Glad I have one...this thing is slick!
That black wire is actually the positive wire for the LED lamp...I'm out of white, and with so little left to do, I'll just use up the black for positive and negative on this light. Speaking of that LED lamp...here it is installed-
I'm getting down to the last few things that need to be wired, and I think I'm going to work on the baggage lights next. Beyond that, I have to finish the smoke system wiring, recognition lights, mag and LSI, and that should just about do it other than engine probes and such.
