4/27/2009-Happy Birthday to my sister-in-law today!

This baggage light project took WAAAAY longer than I had anticipated, but I got it finished tonight.  First I worked on running the wires to the switch, and then secured the wire bundle that runs thru the center tunnel in the baggage area.  There are no more wires going to the tail...at least not right now.

Then I installed the tunnel cover and the center post at the 705 bulkhead.  The red arrows are pointing to the two rubber grommets I installed to pass the wires thru.

Then I finished the run from the switch up to the battery buss.  That switch will always be hot so I can flip it on without the master being turned on, and it is protected by the seat so it won't get inadvertently turned on.

After the run was complete, I secured the wires running up the 705 post (had to run it up the back side exposed because the front of the post is open to the front...I'd rather not see the wires from the front, so this is the solution)...

...and along the 705 bulkhead to the switch.

I think I'm finally down to ignition wiring now!  I should be able to wrap up the wiring (other than what's left when the wings go on) this week, and then start planning the move to the airport.  I thought I would keep it at home long enough to do the cowl, but I am already tired of the configuration the garage is in...not enough space around the fuselage this way, and the hangar is wide open...
