I had two things planned for tonight...install the last three bolts on the VS, which I did, and install the prop extension, which I didn't do...more in a sec...the last three bolts on the VS didn't get done the other day because for some reason, I used the AN4-6A bolts somewhere else (where? don't know...), so I didn't finish it the other day when I installed it.  I remembered to grab the bolts at work today, so I did that first.

Then I moved to the front of the airplane to install the prop spacer.  That didn't work out...I bought this Saber spacer off a guy on VAF.  I didn't even think about it at the time, but I remember now that the spacer was for an O-320 (on an RV-4 originally).  Well, I don't have on O-320...the bolts to mate it to the prop flange are 1/2" for the 360, and 3/8" for the 320.  Ain't gonna work.  My fault completely, but now I either have to sell this one and buy a new one, or see if Saber will take this one back for exchange or perhaps ream the holes for the 360 flange bushings.  I'll know tomorrow when Sam at Saber calls me back.  Pretty much took the wind out of my sails for tonight, so I quite early.  The Cardinals are on, and I need a beer (Coor's light for all my RB friends, thank you!). ;o)
