Today I went to work on the co-pilot's side mic and headset jacks, as well as the push to talk button.  The PTT button is mounted right next to the jacks so I don't have to run any wiring up thru the co-pilot control stick with a disconnect to remove that stick.

Quite nice looking if you ask me...

That took quite some time to complete, so for a change of pace from working behind the panel, I moved to the RDAC (remote data acquisition computer) unit installation.  This is basically the engine brain box for the EFIS...all the engine data will come thru this unit, and then sent thru the gray data cable to the EFIS.  No engine wires will enter the cabin area this way.

First I made a doubler out of some .032, and then drilled it to the holes in the firewall and added nut plates to mount the RDAC.

After some fit issues with the holes not lining up perfectly, I got it mounted.  I used 7/16" spacers behind the circuit board to stand it off the firewall.

This will make engine wiring a snap!
