Well I intended to wire my ammeter shunt tonight, but I decided to start with the sub-switch panel, and then do the shunt...I didn't get to the shunt.  The panel plate that I remade the other night was plenty dry to work with, so I installed that, and then proceeded to install the ELT remote...again...and then the smoke switch and LED caution light that goes with it.

Very noticeable in that pic above is the paint chipping around the screws...I knew that would happen, so I'm not frettin' about it.  I'll just touch it up later on.

Here's a shot of the back side of the sub-switch panel.  I haven't come across many pics of how caution lights are wired, so here's one.  I have to mention a thanks to Rob again for helping me with the LED wiring...

Then, rather than move to the firewall to wire the shunt, I kept on with the panel stuff.  The Garmin 295 Air Gizmo's dock was next on the list, so I installed that, and ran the power wires.  Then I installed the main switch panel plate.  I had to remove it one time after the first install due to the holes for the LED lights being about an eighth of an inch too high...I had to round out the panel above each LED hole to be able to fit the LED's.

There was some minor paint chipping here as well, but again, no big deal.  The panel is REALLY close to being done now!!
