Today at work, we used a home-made pre-oiler pump that one of our A&P's has to pump oil in to all the passages, filter, and oil cooler.  This assures oil pressure almost immediately upon the first start.  First I had to drain the preservative oil from the sump.

Then we hooked up the line from the pump to the lower oil cooler port, and capped off that line.

The blurry pic below shows the pre-oiler pump and the line running to the oil cooler.

The suction tube goes in to a quart of oil, and an air drill is used to drive the pump.

With all the passages, filter, and cooler filled with about about a quart and a half of mineral oil, I added the other six and a half to the sump.  Phillips is the oil of choice for me...

Oil is in, and no leaks were readily apparent.  Hopefully that remains true for a LONG time...

After work tonight, I grabbed the spark plugs, and installed them in the bottom cylinder holes.

Torque'd down to 35ft-lbs, these are ready to go.  Anti-seize was used, of course.

I finally got around to labeling the panel switches tonight.  I went cheap on these because of friend of mine has a sister in the sign biz, and the price was right...looks pretty darn good if you ask me, but they are just stickers, so I'll be replacing them from time to time I would imagine.  I also labeled the starter button, and the PTT on the right side of the panel.

Tomorrow I plan to move the airplane back to my hangar, and this weekend Rob is coming to help me time the Lightspeed.  This is getting REALLY REAL now...
