Another VERY short night in the shop tonight. At least I'm working on it, even if it's only for forty-five minutes. I brought the #6 dimple dies home from work today to make the screw holes a little bigger to get the heads to sit flush. I only dimpled them to #30 the other night, and they sat proud a little. Now they look really good! The screws are just sitting in the holes in this pic. The plexi is not in place.
I decided to drill out the rivets on the top retainer strips to use the platenuts a different way. Instead of using the AL strips, I decided to try epoxy to hold the platenuts in position.
I'll let those set up overnight, and see how they work out. Oh, and this is what I got to listen to while working tonight...
I LOVE working in the garage when it rains!
