Skinning of the wings has begun! My dad came over tonight to help buck the first session of skin riveting. I started by measuring the plumb line to make sure I'm still building a straight wing. As it turns out, nothing has moved, so I guess it's looking good so far! After my dad left, I squeezed the rivets for the inboard rib and rear spar. We just did the left top inboard skin tonight. The reflection off skin from the flash makes the skin look rippled...it's not. It's really nice and smooth. Oh, and at some point along the way tonight, I set my 5,000th rivet!!
I also started marking the tank bolts with torque seal.
