I can't believe four days have gone by since I've last worked! Well anyway, just a quick night tonight because I didn't plan ahead and pick up some of the nutplates I needed for tonight. I also need to get some double-sided tape. I did get the holes in the plexi drilled out to 5/32, and countersunk those for the skin dimple.
Then I drilled out the holes in the retainer strips to 5/32, and deburred those.
The screw holes in both skins were then deburred, and dimpled with a #30 dimple die. We'll see how well that fits...I may need the next larger size.
