8/22/2007 Tonight I got the flap notch arm fitted in to position. Took several trials to get it right, but I think I got it spot on. I had to make a few mods to the arm, so I had to take it apart completely, and reset some rivets. Here it is drilled to the tunnel cover.
Then I made a doubler plate for the tunnel cover. It's just too thin at .016 to hold the air loads on the flaps. I made it out of .063.
Then I measured, marked, and drilled the doubler to the cover.
Brit brought home a Golden Retriever she found standing in the road last night, so we spent the rest of the evening keeping him company, and walking the neighborhood looking for it's owner...we found his house. 2.0 hours |
