8/27/2007 I wasn't planning on doing anything tonight, but decided to throw an hour or so at it anyway. The F-721B brackets/gussets/whatever were calling my name, so I worked on getting those ready to install. First, I clamped them to the longerons, and just used one hand to position it properly, and the other to drill the holes.
Those were removed, deburred, and countersunk. Then I cleaned 'em up, and painted them. I also found a small problem with the cushion clamp near the bottom of the vent line. The screw is too long, and hits the side skin. It's a #8 screw, and I used the Dremel to cut them shorter so they don't touch the skin. You can see in this pic where it was rubbing on the skin.
