I started tonight by riveting those other two plate nuts to the firewall that I didn't do last night. Didn't take any pics.
Then I started the battery box. I am doing the lightening holes, but I think I'm doing it the hard way or something. I'm trying to use a hole saw, and it just isn't working. You can see the smoke in the picture below...
After working for over an hour, I had three of the eight holes done. I have to find a better way.
The wood burns behind as the hole saw tries to work thru. It's far from optimal.
