Well, I now consider the wings done until final details and wrap up work comes along!!  I started by trimming the trailing edges of the tips to match the ailerons.  Not much at all had to be removed.  I took not quite a 1/4" from the inboard side, and tapered it to 0 at the outboard edge.  Here you can see the gelcoat between fiberglass layers after I sanded the edges.

Our wonderful post office system delivered to me today a package that was supposed to contain my little piece of delrin plastic.  Well, it was ripped on one end, and the piece is no where to be found.  Thanks for sending it Jeff!  But the postmaster let us down, my friend!  No worries, I found an old cutting board made of delrin that actually worked out great.  I cut about an inch off the end, and the rest went back in the cabinet!  Thanks Brit!!

Then I cut two little pieces from the middle to use as pin retainers.

I haven't put the pins in yet, but here's how they will be installed on the rib.

I drilled a 3/16th hole (not the tooling hole shown) at the very end of the rib that will be used to tie wrap the pins to secure them.

These things are DONE!! (For now...)

1.5 hours
