It is FLIPPIN' COLD here!!!  It's -3*F as I type this, with a wind chill of -27*F out there!  I don't think it got above 0*F actual air temp today...

It was a great day to stay in, relax, and work on the panel a bit...the A210 tray was calling me, so I finished installing that.

Then I started on the cover I'll be putting over the hole between the comm and transponder that was going to be used for the EXPBUS enunciator panel.  I used a paper template to start, then transferred that to a piece of .016...the same piece of Cessna 172 rudder skin that I've been using to make little project parts, like the center tunnel cover, and the rudder cable exit fairings.

Of note here is the shape I decided to use...it perfectly reflects the shape of the Enigma EFIS, almost exactly scaled down.  Pretty cool!  I think I'll continue this shape on the switch panel as well.

I cut the cover out on the band saw in a freezing cold (well, 38*) garage, then drilled and cleco'd it in place.

After a couple of small adjustments to the shape, it'll be ready to screw in to place...after I put a design of some sort on it.

That's probably about all I'll do until after Christmas, but it was nice to get a couple things accomplished today!
