Tonight I pretty much did the same thing as last time, only with the transponder tray.  Here are the parts laid out...

This transponder (about 1 year old) came out of a Cessna 310 that had a taxiing accident last December 18th (totaled the airplane), so it already has wires coming from the connector in the back.  That should make this easier since all I need to do is read the manual, and figure out what wires they are, and which one's I need to splice in to.

I fit the side attach angles first-

Then screwed them in place (the screws are too long, and will be replaced with proper length screws)-

I didn't take pics of getting the rivet holes drilled or setting the rivets, but here it is in place.

This transponder and tray is not long enough to go thru the sub-panel, so it will get reinforced somehow so the attach angles don't take all the weight.

Two pieces down...many to go...

Next will be the cover between those two Garmin's.
