I got my Odyssey Ultimizer battery charger today!
So the first thing I did tonight was install the harness that will remain permanently installed, and then I hooked up the charger. The wing root makes a good spot for the charger to rest-
And here you can kinda see the leads connected to the battery, and the plug.
With constant power coming in, I sat in the airplane for a while working on some setup stuff in the Enigma. Pretty easy stuff, just time consuming. There are a couple issues that cropped up tonight...first, I still can't get the #4 CHT temp text to show up, even after telling the Enigma that there are 4 CHT probes, rather than two. And the other issue is now the IO Extender is causing a problem with the SP2/SP4 connection. Whenever the IOX is plugged in, the horizon and compass go away. Seems as though I'm missing something in the setup of the IOX...???
After tiring of messing with that, I put the dash carpet on the dash to get an idea of where I want to make the first trim to get it to fit. I didn't get out to get the camera, but I'll take pics next time.
