I got an early start this morning since Brit had to leave early for some training.  I started today with the F-605C bars.  Yesterday I clamped/cleco'd everything together, and forgot to cut about a quarter inch off the end of the bar.  Did that, and it all matches up properly now.  I also went ahead and cut the taper in to them.

Here's one end of the 705 lower portion where the rear wing spar will mount to the fuselage.

I clamped it all back together for drilling, and you guessed it...I drilled!

Next I started on the seat belt anchors that mount to this lower part of the bulkhead.  There are four pairs to mount, and the left half gets drilled according to a dimension, then bolted in place.  Once bolted, I had to find something 3/16th's in width to space the halves properly.  With those shimmed and clamped, I drilled the right halves.

All eight are drilled.  The right half is sagging because the bolts are not tight.

You'll notice in the pic above that there is a portion marked out for trimming.  This is due to interference with the rivet that will sit next to this anchor.  Not all of them are like this, but half of them needed to be trimmed.  Did that with the hacksaw.

Then I took it all apart to deburr and prep for riveting.  After that, I was about to call it a day, but I wanted to mark off another paragraph in the instructions done.  The last thing in this particular paragraph calls for making the F-705G angles.  This took a lot more time than I anticipated.  The thick .187 (3/16") is tough for my bandsaw, so the going was slow.  Then all the cleanup that needs to be done after cutting took a while to get nice and smooth.  But, I ended up with a couple of nice looking parts to finish the day with.
