Well, as my luck would have it, I ordered some 426AD-4-16 rivets from Aircraft Spruce last night, and come to find out, we have an overstock of these rivets at work.  I needed all of four of them, but came away with extra.  If anyone needs some for the sheer bars, let me know, I'll send 'em to ya!  Anyway, that's where I started tonight, backriveting those.

Here you can see the shop head is MUCH improved over NO shop head with the -14's.

Then it was time for some fabrication.  F-705J, F-705K, and F-705L all need to be made from stock.  Two of each are required.  F-705J is just an angle piece and F-705L is a .063 shim.  Easy enough.  F-705K is just a piece of AL sheet also, but a 4 degree bend is required right down the middle.  So, since I don't have a bending break at home (there is one in the shop at work, but I felt I could manage this from here), I made one.

The bends came out nice using the hand seamer to bend them.

Here's a shot of all the fabbed parts I made tonight.

Next I deburred the F-705F main top channel and drilled the 705L shims to it.

Some real thinking was involved in this process tonight for me to wrap my head around getting these holes drilled.  Don't know why, I just couldn't see it until I started working on it.  Anyway, with those holes drilled, I then match drilled the 705K plates to the shims.

Then I drilled the F-705J angles according to dimensions given, then drilled them to the main channel.

Here's a good shot of how these three parts stack up on top of the channel.

Not sure why they are built up like this at this point, but I'm sure I'll find out soon enough!
