It's a blizzard out there!!  The weather today afforded me time during the day to get the shop nice and warm and spend the afternoon out there!  No work for me today!  I was supposed to have a trip in the King Air, but it was moved to Thursday due to the weather.  Oh well, I worked on finishing the 705 bulkhead instead.

I started by countersinking the F-705K plate (with the bend in it), and riveted that to the top channel.

Then I riveted the F-705J angle to the back side of the channel.

Easy breezy pneumatic squeezy.  Then I deblued and deburred the side channels and doublers, drilled holes for snap bushings, took a break for lunch, and then riveted on a couple of platenuts.

Next came cleco assembly of the bulkhead.  The F-705G angles that I made a few days ago were clamped in place to drill those holes.  These only get drilled and cleco'd at this point.  They'll be rivetd with the skins later on, but here's a couple of shots showing how I clamped it all together to drill.

I then drilled all remaining holes, disassembled to deburr, reassembled to rivet...

...then riveted it all together.

Close attention must be paid to the drawings with this bulkhead as there are several holes that do not get riveted.  Some get done when the seat ribs go in, some are omitted since I am building a tip up canopy.  I did have to drill out several rivets because I forgot to set a rivet that is set underneath the F-605C doubler bar on the bottom channel.  No big deal.  I'm getting awfully good at drilling rivets at this point.  All were drilled out nice and slow, and I had no enlarged holes.

This part is getting close to being finished.  In case anyone is wondering why I have not primed any of these parts...First, they are inside the cockpit, second, I am going to paint them, but only with interior paint for looks.  Just want to make sure I don't have any more major drilling or countersinking to do before I paint.
