Brit got me a great gift for Valentine's Day this year...

COOL, huh!!??  She knew that the airplane is not an RV, but the sign people didn't have one.  The two airplanes we've owned were both Cherokee's, so this is somewhat of a tribute to that, and a passing of the torch.

Another quick night in the garage tonight.  I went out and bought a metal cutoff wheel for my miter saw.  I had seen that Rob Johnson did this some time back, and I kept meaning to get one.  I finally remembered when I went to Menard's today.  Works GREAT for cutting angle!  I cut the F-728B and F729B angles.

The F-729C (little piece) was cut on the bandsaw last night.  I was hoping I would get my bench grinder in the mail today, but I didn't.  It would've made finishing the 729C piece easier, but instead I got to brush up on my filing skills, and did it the old fashioned way, to clean up the edges.

The 729C angle has a VERY SLIGHT acute angle that needs to be made, 88.5 degrees to be exact.  Nailed it!!

Next was to drill a couple of holes in the 728B and 729B angles from dimensions given, then I drilled 729B angle to the 729A rib...

...and I drilled the 1/4" inch hole for the pivot bolt.

To finish the evening, I just took that apart and deburred those parts.

What a dork.
