Tonight my dad (and mom) came over to help me remove the tail wheel spring. I can do it by myself, but it is much easier to have someone on the bolt from the top while I remove the nut from the bottom. I then cleaned it all up with emery cloth, alcohol, and MEK. Rob will shoot this with AZKO for me this weekend, and I'll repaint it later.
Then I worked on the smoke switch and ELT remote panel. The smoke switch is in, but for whatever reason, AmeriKing doesn't send screws with their product to install the remote switch. I'll have to pic up some at work tomorrow.
