2/26/2009 Wow! Six days in a row! I can't remember the last time that happened...My time tonight was split between working on Jim's Sonex for a little bit, then over to Terry's to meet Rob to give him my tail wheel spring so he can prime it for me with AZKO, and then back home to work on the panel a bit more. I got the ELT remote mounted (two screws for now), and then cleco'd the panel in place for final fitting. The only other thing that might go in here if I do it, is a wig-wag switch for the landing/taxi lights. I have the wig-was flasher, but haven't decided on it's use yet.
Then I set out to start the switch wiring. All of these are easy, except the battery/alternator switch (cut off on the right). I just need to read up on it to understand it. The two open holes are for future use if I ever add lights for night flight.
The two with wires attached are the fuel pump and Ebus emergency switch. I now see the light at the end! I really think I can finish the wiring this weekend, or early next week. I still have engine wiring to do, but the panel is just about finished. Switches, and then comm to intercom wiring, and that's it! 1.5 hours |
