From time to time, I like to make notes of certain things that happen in life in my build log just for me to remember when it happened...this past Saturday (1/23) at 10am, my Great Grandmother, Nana, passed away at the age of 94. We laid her to rest yesterday. She had a long, sweet life, and is now at peace with my Great Grandpa. We miss you both, and we'll see you again!
Tonight I had a short while to work and I got the nut plates riveted to the HS and VS for the empennage fairing.
I still wasn't able to find any single lug nut plates for #6 screws at work today, so this hole, and the one on the other side will have to wait. I also wasn't able to do the nut plates in front of the empennage on the rear fuselage.
Our water heater went out at home, so I had to go home to fix that. Stupid house stuff gettin' in the way of airplane building time...I tell ya...how bad to we REALLY need hot showers when there's an airplane to finish!!??
