I started out tonight by clecoing the firewall recess in place so that I could match up the center cover/heat box.

Then I deblued and deburred the F-983A&C fuel valve cover and plate, and riveted a couple of platenuts to the plate.

That plate is screwed in to place on the F-704 bulkhead, and the valve cover was cleco'd in place.

The tab that is bent upward is the mount for the manual trim cable.  I'm getting all this stuff drilled and ready to use, but I may end up designing my own center console to hold a throttle quadrant that I think I'm going to use.  We'll see...

The center cover was then drilled to the floor stiffener angles.

With all the holes drilled, I removed everything to deburr and rivet, guess what!  More platenuts!!  Woohoo!!

These parts will be primed/painted, then I have the F-704 covers to do real quick, then the flap handle is installed...then a BIG step happens!  It'll be time to mate the wings for the first time!  I'm a bit nervous about it already...
