Happy Independence Day!!
I managed to get a quick hour in this afternoon while Brit was giving the doggies baths (they STUNK from swimming in a pond earlier today). The wear blocks are for the seatbelt cables where they come thru the baggage bulkhead cover. Here's the "kit" as it comes from Van's-
Several pieces of plastic, a strip of AL, and some LP4-3's are there. The plastic and AL get drilled and trimmed to this-

This is the view looking thru from the front. I'm not terribly concerned that the 'key hole' is not smooth...they will be rubbed by the cable anyway.
I probably won't work on the airplane tomorrow (we're going to try and fly the Cub...weather permitting), but tomorrow is my 2 year anniversary of starting this project. So far, I'm pretty much on schedule, perhaps slightly ahead...
