Tonight I had just a little over an hour available after mowing and trimming the yard and before Brit got home form her dog club meeting.  I started by marking the hole locations using masking tape to mark start and stop lines, then taking it off, and measuring out the holes while the tape was laid out straight.  Make sense?

Here the hole locations are marked, though it's hard to see in this picture...I REALLY WANT MY CAMERA BACK CANON!!!

With the tape still in place, I drilled thru it using a 5/64 bit on the skin and a #40 on the roll bar.  Thanks to Mike Bullock for pointing it out on his site to use a small bit on the initial holes in the skin so the bigger 1/8 plexi bit stays centered when I drill that.  He used a #50 bit, which I don't have, but a 5/64 bit is really close.  This might be in the plans, but I don't remember reading it.

Here are the holes drilled.

While I was working on fitting the rear glass in place, Brit pulled in the driveway, and I was able to draft her for some help for a few minutes to help position the window for drilling.  That will come next time though...it was 9pm, and neither of us had had dinner yet.  So, here it is in place, ready for next time.

1.25 hours
