MY ENGINE IS HERE! The big Yellow Freight Semi rolled in to the airport at about 1:30pm today, and my engine was delivered from Texas with no damage to the box, or the contents. I bought a rebuilt Lycoming O-360-A1A.
I had it delivered to where I work because before I bring it home, we are going to take it apart to paint it. The engine is freshly rebuilt and ready to bolt on, but it's gray, and I just don't want a gray engine. So, for no other reason than that, I am going to repaint it! I know...vanity...
Here the line guys at work helped get the crate off the truck for me.

Included with this engine are the mags and harness (as you can see), fuel pump, starter, oil cooler, alternator, carburetor, and oil filter.
I probably won't start the disassembly until I get back from Oshkosh...which is next week. I have a few other things to wrap up on the canopy before I dig in to this. No work tonight though.
