Tonight I smeared on the first layer of micro balloons. I doubt this will be the last layer, but we'll see how it goes. I'm using West Systems 407 for this.
Looks pretty rough, but this stuff is supposed to be easy to sand, so hopefully there isn't a ton of work to do to get it to the proper shape.
