Finally got back at it today.  Phew, last week was a blur, and I hate being that busy, but sometimes it's unavoidable.  I started today by fitting the T405 nose reinforcement and inboard plate stiffener, and found that T405 needed some additional shaping to fit right with the rivets already set.  So, I got on the wheel and finished those, then cleco'd them in place to drill the hole for the fitting for the flop tube.  With that drilled, I test fitted the tube and fitting and it all fits fine.

Then I fabbed up the anti hang up brackets, just as the rain started to fall, that will keep the flop tube from getting stuck in the stiffeners or inspection plate.  I couldn't decide which pics to use, so you get 'em all!  I decided to make it rounded rather than straight with a few hard bends to get it in to position.  I think this will further reduce the risk of it getting stuck.  The pic on the right is a little washed out, but I was trying to show the rounded shape.  You can kind of see it, but the flash made it almost disappear.

Here's the other bracket that is called for to keep it from getting hung up on the outboard part of the bay.  I should've used a pop rivet in both holes, but oh well, it's in there.

I need to mix up some sealant for the next session to get the T405 done, and spread some on the other anti hang up bracket before I rivet it.
