After I FINALLY finished one of my front yard landscaping projects, I spent the rest of the afternoon and evening doing final preps for sealing the tanks up.  I wanted to get this done today, but the landscaping took much longer than I anticipated, so they should get done tomorrow.  I started by going over the ribs with a fine toothed comb to check where I needed to patch some thin spots that I missed.  Then I installed the flop tube in the left tank.  Here's the goop around the fitting and nut.

Then I deburred the rear baffles and installed the vent lines in each tank.

The Z brackets finally came off the spars, and they were deburred and then primed.  Then I started working on getting the fuel sender installed in the left rear baffle.  I had to place it in the second bay of the tank, so I marked it's location using the second Z bracket as a guide.

I drilled the holes, and cut the larger hole for the sender to go through with the fly cutter.  Then countersunk and dimpled the parts for riveting the platenuts on.
