My dad came over again tonight to shoot the rivets for the inner ribs.  These were "wet" installed with a little goo being applied in the dimple before inserting the rivet.  I have to say that this way of sealing the tanks is MUCH less messy than what we did the first night.  The only time I put gloves on tonight was to clean up with MEK after the rivet session was over!  The rivets are easier to set, and out of four ribs and 136 rivets set, I only had to drill three out, compared to 5 drilled out of the 34 we set the first night.  I still have to do the inboard and outboard ribs, the fillet seal around each rib, and cover the shop head of each rivet, but I'm going to wait to do that after I finish the inner ribs in the left tank.  They cleaned up nice!
