This morning I started out by finishing the F-757T's that the tip up canopy latch fits in to.  These were cleco'd in to place for drilling after I cleco'd the F-721 side rails on.

Then these were drilled, deburred, primed, and painted before they were cleco'd back in place.

I'm out of commission as far as riveting goes until at least Tuesday when I go to pick up my new air compressor.  My 33 gallon Craftsman did not fail me, I just grew VERY tired of how loud the thing was, even inside the sound box I built around it.  Rather than improving the box with more insulation, I decided to sell the thing, and buy an oiled compressor.  I bought this one.  25 gallon Craftsman Professional that is probably the highest rated air compressor among builders.  Read the reviews...the thing speaks for itself!  Anyway, my Sears store sucks, and they didn't have it in stock, big surprise there.  It'll be at the store for pick up on Tuesday.  So, back to building...

I started working on the F-695 forward gussets next.  These are huge gussets that stiffen the longeron to firewall joint.  These are drilled first, then clamped on to drill to the longerons and firewall stiffeners.  I used my drill press to drill the holes.

Here's the other side after everything was deburred and primed, and then back in place.

I took a break for lunch at some point in there, but afterwards I fit the F-636 seatbelt anchors to the longerons.  these are anchored WAY back at the 708 bulkhead.

I primed those and set 'em aside for now.  To finish up the day, I drilled the top and bottom of the F-728A to the 706 bulkhead, then took it out for riveting.

The only other thing I got a start on was the F-635 bellcrank.  All I did was deblue and deburr the two halves and the spacer.

Lots of little things to work on at this point in the game...
