6/18/2007 I'll get to building (what little I did...) in a minute. This past weekend, I managed to get the wings hung on my walls in the garage. This was a MUCH BIGGER job than I had anticipated, but it's done.
Building tonight was limited due to several interruptions. I started by setting the seat pans and baggage pans in place. For what I don't know yet, but it seemed logical that I'll need to get in there at some point.
Then I turned to the elevator bellcrank, and the bearing that is riveted in between.
I didn't take a pic of it, but I fit the bellcrank in the fuselage and made sure the spacers fit with no play. They did, and I removed them, and put them aside for now. Then I found the F-656 bulkhead gussets, cleco'd them in place and drilled them to the 706 and 707 bulkheads and longerons.
There are two per side, and after drilling, I deblued and deburred these. I hope to get them primed and riveted tomorrow. 1.0 hour |
