Tonight I got the trims done on the sides of the canopy. This is just to remove the clamping marks.
Then I put tape on the roll bar and the 631A ribs to prevent scratching, and to mark the centerline for splitting the canopy.
The canopy was then put back on the fuselage to figure out the next trim. I didn't take any pics, but the next one will be at the front of the canopy to bring it nearly to the leading edge. After that, it's time to mark "the big cut" line...
