6/22/2009 It's not very often that I'm not able to get a web entry in on the day the work was done, but it happened this time...but for a good reason! While I was minding my own business at work yesterday (well, okay, I was staring out the window at the ramp), a white, red, and blue RV-7A taxied up to the door...of course I had to go down and say hi...turned out to be Jeff Conner from Ohio, and a business partner of his, Brian. They were in town for a meeting and were overnight. I told them that if they were bored that evening, that I would be at the hangar, and invited them out to hang out for a bit. They took me up on the offer, and showed up with a cooler full of none other than top-o-the-line Land Shark!! Needless to say, no more work was done on my RV. It was HOT, but the iced down brews took care of that! We had a blast hangar talkin'!! Here's Jeff's 7A-VERY NICE!!!!
Oh...the work...I riveted the plate nuts to the tank attach brackets, and got the right side steel bracket installed, but not torqued. I was just about to put the AN4H-6A bolt in...but a cooler full of beer came to my attention...
It was a fun evening! 0.5 hours |
