3/5/2007 Everybody sing it with me!! I hate deburring, I hate deburring, I hate deburring all the tiiiime!!! This seemed like it took a lot longer than it did, but I still hate it. Oh, I also drilled the holes that attach the aft tail section (with the tail spring mount) from the called out #40 to #30 holes. I was really unhappy with the fit of this piece and some holes just would not line up no matter what I tried. I drilled them as they were to #40, and ended up with some elongate holes. In order to correct those, I drilled them to #30 holes, and to make that aft section of the row of rivets match, I drilled them all to #30 holes. Maybe a fraction of a pound more weight with the 1/8th rivets, but I'm not gonna give it another thought. Sorry, no pics of this boring stuff... 2.5 hours |
