Quick night tonight...all I did was trim the weather seal flange where it interferes with the forward canopy frame. I got a bit over-zealous on the left side of the sub-panel (red arrow) with the cutoff wheel. The rest of it came out very nice.
The canopy frame now moves up and down without rubbing the sub-panel.
