Forty-five minutes on a Saturday!!??  Yep!  But, I actually had a pretty RV-entful day today...but only worked on mine for a few minutes.

Don Miller ('flytoboat' on RB and VAF) from Collinsville (near St. Louis), came up today to pick up my old wing stands.  We met over at Larry Enyeart's (7) house, since he had them for his wings.  We hung out as his place for a bit, looking over his project, then loaded up the stands and some other stuff, and headed over to my house.  Don wanted to see my project while he was here, and while we were talking, Carl Peters (9A) called.  We were getting hungry for lunch at that time, and Don offered to buy lunch!  Thanks buddy!!  We grabbed some lunch, then headed to Carl's house to check out his project!  We ate, talked RV's, worked on it a bit, talked some more, and then it was time for Don to head back home.

When I got home, I did get some time on mine before I had to work on some other things I needed to do today.  First, I removed the forward canopy frame to file down the hinge "hooks".  These were sticking up a bit, and would push the 771 skin up if left alone.

Then I cleco'd the 771 and 702 skins back on, and drilled the last two rows of rivet holes that I had not yet done on the frame.

Here's something funny...I've been working on this for nearly three years...I've been using Photoshop Elements to edit my pictures for the same amount of time.  I just figured out TODAY how to make an arrow like the one in the above photo!  HA!
