March is FINALLY here!! Warm weather...C'mon!! I called Rob today to check on my tail wheel spring, and he had it finished up for me. I made a quick trip over to his house to pick it up so I can paint it and install it this week in order to rearrange the garage next weekend. He also primed my tank attach brackets for me.
Off and on today, I've been working on the audio harness, and I'm happy to report, it's finished!
Then I installed the Molex connector in the back of the A210 tray...
I also put the shell on the Dsub connector for the intercom, and screwed it in place, just for the fun of it. This is about where the intercom will be mounted behind the panel.
The last remaining wiring I have to do on the panel are the landing/taxi lights, mag/EI wiring, and the battery/alternator switch. I may wait to do those until after the panel is installed in the airplane for good though.
I need a pair of snap ring pliers from work to install the antenna BNC connector in the back of the A210 tray, and that will complete the radio installation, other than the antenna wire, which I still need to do...
