3/8/2009 Back to work in the garage today, and I picked up where I left off back in November with the baffles. I can only get them to the point of being ready to install because they will be cut down to install the SJ plenum, and I have to do the cowl prior to the plenum. So, with the garage door closed...a front came thru and brought with it VERY windy conditions...35mph sustained, and gusting to 52mph!! So while the temp was okay at 63, the wind was just too strong to have the door open. Anyway, I finished drilling the left rear baffle, and set it in place.
It appears to fit very well at this point, but we'll see what happens when the other three pieces are put in. Next I started on the right rear baffle. I only got to the point of getting the holes deburred...my riveting tools are spread between Larry's and Jim's houses, so I need to get those back to move on.
It's supposed to cool off again this week, so garage work may not happen...we'll see. 1.5 hours |
