This morning my dad joined me at the airport to help me install the rear window.  We started with the screws along the roll bar, and all was going well until I got to the last screw on my side...it started to get tight, and before I made the decision to stop, the head of the screw snapped off.  Not a big deal, right?  Well, I decided to use stainless steel screws to install the window.  That makes drilling one out really difficult.  We removed the window and I was able to get a hole drilled thru the screw to get an easy out started...but then the easy out snapped.  One of those "What the hell is going on?" moments.  So now with a SS screw and a hardened steel easy out stuck, there was no way a drill bit was going to get thru.  I tried.  Many times with lube, different sized drill bits, different bits made from other metals.  Nothing.  My only option left, was to smooth the area, and make it look good cosmetically with the snapped off head of the screw epoxy'd in place.  Which one is it?  I'll never tell...;o)

I do have some pillowing of the metal between the screws along the back of the window, but it's not all that bad.  I am going to use some black silicon or proseal to seal the gaps and the entire window for that matter at some point.
