I'm finally getting over this cold, and got some good work in the shop tonight.  I started by drilling the anti rotation bracket for the standard fuel pick up tube.  I borrowed a 3/16-3/4" Unibit from work to do this, and it worked great!  Then drilled it to the access plate, and riveted it in place.  I actually made a mistake by riveting it in place without installing the elbow fitting and found that I could not get it in there after the fact, so I drilled out the two rivets, and reset the two with the fitting in place.

Next I drilled the platenut holes in the T-407 ring and ribs, deburred those holes, dimpled the ribs, and c-sunk the ring.

The K1000-08 platenuts are cleco'd to the ring/rib at this point, and get riveted on.

Those ribs are set aside for now while I start working on the fuel caps and filler neck.

I had Brit help me with this step.  I couldn't figure a way to get it clamped tight enough to drill the holes, so I held it in place on the inside tank skin while she drilled the first couple of holes and the drill was passed to me to finish 'em.  Had to quit at this point 'cuz the season finale of LOST was starting!  The left pic is a little washed out, but it shows the cap is very well centered.  This was very easy to do, but it makes a good pic!
