5/31/2006 More of the same as yesterday to finish out the month of May. I repeated everything from last night to complete the right tank stiffeners. I had just enough sealant in the tube to work with the VA-112 drain flanges. I put some sealant between it and the skin, then riveted it in place. Then I dabbed a bit of sealant over each shop head. I used some electricians tape to mask a channel between the rivets so there is no chance of water not getting to the drain. Can't take credit for this idea...Rob Johnson did this with his, and I thought it was great thinking, so I adopted it for mine. Not sure why that right hand pic came out blurry...may have to replace that one later.
