5/6/2006 Not a whole lot to report from today. I went to Pontiac to visit my friend Ben and his RV-7. He is doing an outstanding job with the installation of a Mazda 13B rotary. I'm VERY impressed, as usual. When I got home, I had just about an hour to order some food, and work a little on the airplane before Brit came home. I fitted the joint plate on both wings using some manual force, and a dead blow hammer to tap it in to position where the line showed through the pre-punched holes.
Marking that line 1/2" from the edge, leaves 11/16ths exposed to use for the fuel tank attachment. I didn't have a whole lot of time after this, so I just drilled a few of the holes to hold it in place for tonight. I'll get back to work on it first thing in the morning. Food is here, gotta eat!!
